Beauty and the Beast Season 1 Episode 1- This coming October 11, 2012 don’t miss to watch the new series produced by CBS Television Studio starring Kristin Kreuk, is a Canadian actress and executive producer, best known for her roles as Lana Lang in the American television series Smallville and now she will seen in the new series (Beauty and Beast) as Catherine Chandler who is a detective, witnessed the murder of her mother at the hands of two gunmen and would have been killed too while Jay Ryan, is a New Zealand actor who resides in Australia, portrays the beast  who was reportedly killed by enemy fire while serving in Afghanistan in 2002. He’s been hiding for the past 10 years to guard his secret and after 10 years ago, they meet again and their partnership continues to grow and, of course, the pair found themselves drawn to each other.

Don’t fail to watch this new series produced by Ron Koslow and the CBS Television Studios. This police procedural describes as "a modern-day romantic love story with a procedural twist", not like the original series which was a romantic drama with mystery and suspense elements.  Well, I hope you watch the season premiere of it this coming October 11, 2012. The other cast are Max Brown, Nina Lisandrello, Nicole Anderson, Austin Basis, and Brian J. White. I know some of you are fan of this original series that was released on 80’s and 90’s created by Ron Koslow. What are you thinking of? Is this show will going to satisfy the viewers? Beauty and the Beast is the new series from CW network that will released this coming October 11, 2012 at 9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm Central. The story follows Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk) a smart and tough beautiful homicide detective who, as a teenager, witnessed her mother's slaying at the hands of two merciless gunmen. But she saves by someone or something that she knows in herself that it was not an animal that saved her life from the two assassins. Well, the sad part was that Catherine’s mother died after they attacked by the assassins. After one decade, while investigating a murder, Catherine discovers a clue that leads her to a handsome doctor named Vincent Keller, who was reportedly killed by enemy fire while serving in Afghanistan in 2002. Catherine learns that Vincent is actually still alive and that it was he who saved her many years before. Catch up the romance between Catherine and Vincent if they are meant for each other even if Vincent is a man-beast. 

Beauty and the Beast- New Series

 I know some of you are familiar with this story “Beauty and the Beast”, the adventures and romance of a sensitive and cultured lion-man and a crusading District Attorney assistant started in 1980’s to 1990’s. The original series starring Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman, follows the relationship between the man-beast Vincent (Perlman), and district attorney Catherine (Hamilton).The series was a modern take on the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale, that originally aired from 1987 -1989.
In 1991, American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios was really successful and kids really loved it. As the time goes by, there are a lot of version came out.

Kristin Kreuk known for having a lot of films made including Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li and Eurotrip. She was known as Lana Lang in the hit television series “Smallville”. Kreuk was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Jay Ryan as Vincent Keller, a man-beast who saved the life of Catherine Chandler (Kristin Kreuk).From Aukland, New Zealand born on August 29, 1981.  Jay Ryan known for many tv shows including Offspring (2011) as Dr Fraser King and Terra Nova (2011) as Tim Curran.

Beauty and the Beast is very familiar story to everyone. Even kids know what the Beauty and the Beast story is. The original series was created by no other than Ron Koslow, an actor, writer and producer who made numerous series in the television. The original series was released in the 1980’s where the cast are Linda Hamilton as the Asst. Dist. Atty. Catherine chandler (Beauty) and Ron Perlman as Vincent (Beast). The story follows  developing relationship between them.  In a twist from the original tale, this "beast" does not transform into society's idea of beauty after gaining the love of Catherine. Well, the story was about the adventures and romance of a sensitive and cultured lion-man and a crusading District Attorney assistant.
